Our COO just finished his 5th Iron Man competition. Way to go Doug!
This got me thinking that if we put as much training & dedication into our work, how much we could improve our bottom line…
Training – There are a multitude of training possibilities out there, rather it be thru organizations like AAHSA, CALA, NASW, thru online webinars I see being offered free in many LinkedIn groups and via email, from professional coaches/consultants, &/or thru local colleges & continuing education companies. Never stop learning or you will be left behind.
Endurance/Dedication – Don’t give up! Keep pushing to bring in new leads and sign those you already have. Don’t get stuck in a rut, and keep doing the same thing that isn’t working just because it’s what’s always been done! You have to be able to make the transition from swimming to biking, and quickly, but not without care. Try new things, but don’t jump in with both feet until you do some practice runs to make sure you will get better results.
Just like an athlete, set goals and work daily to get to the long-term goal and finish the race! You will be proud, shine in your position & be able to share your story to help others.
